Thanks for all the replies and ideas. Yes, first thing I thought when I
was asked about this was "did they even have radios in them?". Of course
this is a friend's friend, and I have not actually talked to him. My
friend showed me photos of the Dodge ambulance this other guy is doing, and
it is remarkable the work he has done. Even has a video of the pristine
engine running again for the first time. The way he is keeping everything
original is making me wonder if he really wanted to put a device in there
that does not belong... We will keep looking for info on that too. Thanks
again guys!
