IIRC, a number of early 240s also shared parts with the 200, leftovers or
otherwise. And there's also the flat vs. later bubble dial covers, too.

I'd be curious to see the difference between the earlier and later dials.
The 4 innermost scales on my dial are bandspread for 10, 20, 40 & 80m.
There's also a logging scale and a large red NC diamond at bottom. It looks
noticeably different than the dial on yours, Brian.

The later gray wrinkle is nice and breaks up the typical black wrinkle of
many other sets of the period. But I couldn't help admiring and being a bit
envious of the black wrinkle paint on yours. It really makes the chrome
trim pop. I'm going to try to polish the cast feet and tuning skirt to a
higher luster when I restore mine. Thanks for the idea!
