You can get insurance, take photos, do all sorts of measures to get
compensation in case the tubes get smashed but if the tube is a
4-1000A, 250TH, 3-1000Z  or some other large tube no longer made, then
the world has one or more less of that tube.  IOW money does not equal
a tube no longer made.   Small tubes in the 3-500Z size or smaller
have a better chance.  Anything still manufactured is different.  I
think the big rare tubes should only be sold at hamfests where
everyone drives and shipping is the backseat of a car.
