[AMRadio] Tube Shipping Question

Guys --

I shipped a TL-922 amplifier recently,  and had it professionally packed.

The tubes were packed separately.   I showed the packers the tube and
explained they were fragile.  The purchaser emailed me last night with
photos of the tubes,  and the innards were destroyed.  The glass envelopes
were OK.

They were shipped by FedEx.  The packers told me that if there was no
damage to the box,  and the glass was not broken,  claims will be denied by
FedEx as they can't be responsible for something internal like that.

Does anyone have any experience on this issue?
