The reason for trimming the posts, Dave, is that every message is 
archived for future review.  There's a ton of technical information that 
flows on this list.  Trimming the post and removing the repeated and 
quoted quotes (that are quoted before) with up to 12 instances of the 
rules and regs and links at the bottom of every message, very quickly 
the quagmire is very mucky to wade through.

By trimming posts, we're being respectful to others that share our niche 
interest in the wide and varied world of Ham Radio.
