[AMRadio] Can they 'really' know?

I used to run my R/C airplanes, helicopters, and cars on 50Mhz.

Never got a squawk. Then again, nothing around here below Channel 4.

It made for more time flying and racing, as there was only one other
that was licensed to operate on 50Mhz, (And shared the same hobbies),
and he lives a good hour drive from me.

Things were a lot different when Angelo used to visit. It's been over
30 years. The guy next door to me in Georgia had a problem with his
antenna picking me up on 10 mtrs. He came and talked to me.

I got out the ladder, climbed up on his roof and cleaned the corroded
antenna connections. Problem went away

Today, it appears the *first* thing that gets done, is *call the
Government* to get a problem fixed.

My *very* next door neighbor had the same Apache come in on the portable
phone.

I paid his house a visit, and bypassed his phone line with the requisite
capacitor and inductor components.

His wife doesn't even hear the BC-610.

It is kind of "funny" how things have changed.
