Hi Bernie,
What power output do you have the 1000MP set at, for use as a driver?
Do you find it unstable, i.e. does the power output vary over time?
Do you notice a big increase upon keying the box into transmit then it
drops off? I notice this with mine but I have been told (not by
Yaesu) it is a design flaw and they all do it. My fix will be to quit
using it. Not being able to fix any of the modern stuff is part of
what's driving me to vintage gear.
