[AMRadio] Bugged by CW?

I was going to mention that the TS-930SAT IS serviceable by mere mortals like me, but it is tedious. I have a TenTec Orion II. It's no ricebox, but it also has to go back to the mother ship for anything significant. And it's an astounding piece of technology with a receiver that's amazing despite its imperfections.

With all the epithets thrown at the SS rigs, they're no different than anything else. The days of (in principle) being able to do everything on my own car are pretty much gone, too. Heck, we're all using computers that precious few of us can fix at the component level! Yet, computers are important gadgets that we need to help us collectively keep our BA gear heating our shacks.

With all their foibles, let's not lose track of what the technological advances provide us.
