Yes, I agree.  That’s pretty high but I have to say by the time I finished restoring my GK 500A I had close of $1300 in it not including my time.  I know if I every get ready to sell it I wouldn’t sell it for less than $1500.00.  I took mine completely apart and regalvinized the three chassis and started over, including redoing the cabinet (with original back door and silk screening the front panel. Idiots are born every day.. the bad part is, some "collector" will pay  
that for it, thus adding credence to the asking price. Anyone who is a  
user of such gear will, of course, puke up thier gizzard at that price..
