I heard him underneath you as you were transmitting just before you
turned it back to me. At first I thought you had a background radio
turned up to loud. Hung around for several minutes after signing and
heard both stations quite clear. There seemed to be less static crashes
up my way. I then switched over to 6 meters, turned the beam to the North
and worked several stations off the aurora in Michigan, Wisconsin, and
VE2 land. It was a good radio night and I got something fixed on the
workbench too.
It's also great to see that the 75 meter spread-out mentality seems to be
finally sinking in for many AM'ers.
