[AMRadio] hamfest?

2 or 3 years ago at Dayton there was some guy with a bunch of FM
Optimods for sale. I laughed at him and asked him what ham would want
a FM Optimod? The next day he had sold all of them, to broadcasters
who were there so he had the last laugh.

With one exception I avoid indoor hamfests because they usually do not
have anything big and heavy for sale. No one wants to schlep a 120
lb. rig or transformer across a parking lot and into a building to set
on a table. And, no buyer wants to haul it back outside through the
slush to his car. They are fine for plenty of other things that are
small and lightweight like tubes, and parts that don't weigh much and
maybe some receivers and small transmitters. But if I drive a long
way I want to get the fairgrounds/pickup truck flea market experience.
