No he did not.  (passed away at VA hospital of old age)  If you see 
some of his recent fotos,
there's only rack mounted gear and other BA stuff.   The Breadboard 
stuff must be from early years.
Bill was a B-24 pilot in WW2.

Hey, nothing wrong with BB construction...just keep a rubber pad on 
the deck, wear some
gloves and keep one hand in your pocket. :-)
