I've always seen it more as a courtesy since we sometimes go on for a
spell responding to what others have said. More of a 'here it comes'
warning. There have been more than a few times I was across the garage
or in a nearby room looking for something or working on something,
thinking I had a couple minutes before it got back to me. Next thing
ya know, boom - there it is.
