I have 2 of these old speakers, one I picked up in the 60's another given to me in the late 70's.  Both of them work and sound exactly alike. Feeding it with the proper input Z,  they are very 'tinny', no bass response at all.  They are supposedly a 300 - 7 Khz  speaker, but was wondering if that hard cone kills all the base.  So, anybody that has one, do they sound as freq. restricted to you as me? Or do I have to bad speakers?  Nice to use on CW, they are almost an audio filter, but on AM, audio quality is not good, but I think the way it sounds would be a plus in a very loud environment.
