I am pleased to read this message. Gary Gomph, W7FG was a personal friend
and we discussed this situation before he became SK. He told me that more
than one person had claimed intellectual ownership of the manuals. He spoke
to a copyright attorney about the situation and was advised that the claim
was in error.

He continued to offer the manuals on his site until it was sold to another
party after his death. In fact the current owner has continued to offer
them for sale on his site, Vintage Manuals. I do wish this could be settled
and they could be returned to BAMA however it is difficult for the owner of
a free service to defend that position so Ken chose to not provide them.

Maybe some day the world will right itself.
