[AMRadio] BTA 1 CONVERSION TO 80M

Hi Ed, 
 I have a BTA1R1 converted to 40/80/160.  I simply removed the complete output network and replaced it with a pi-network.  
The plate tuning cap is a 0-300 pf vacuum cap and the loading cap is a broadcast receiver type ganged to give 2000 pf.  For the inductor I used a large roler inductor.  The exciter is fed directly to the grids of the 4-400's via a blocking capacitor.  Hope this helps. I will be looking to hear yours on the air.  Roy, KB5MD
