There is a free PI-El calculator (among others) at http://www.tonnesoftware.com/ . Jim Tonne aretired Collins engineer is the master of matching networks. Good dude on top of all that...

Hi Ed: if you have some sort of Zmeter, just calculate the L value and set 
the taps accordinly, and likewise for the output loading.  If that beast has 
a large variable for loading you may not need any padders at all. Bernie
