This is the same nonsense that *some* keep proposing.
I've have found AM from 28.5 and up for over 20 years - when the band is
open.
It is *KISS* principle to LISTEN before KEYING the microphone.
Time for growing up. Think about operating procedures.
*IF* I cannot hear a signal, I can call CQ 10mtrs AM along with my
call. Works wonders.
