Check it in an uncomplicated real word scenario. Load the radio into a
dummy load and play a good sounding recording into the mike that you have
listened and compare. listen on a radio in another room. It is incredible
just what you will learn of course based on what's left of your ears. You
won't be disappointed.
If you truly need to be fussy, sweep the mike and view the audio on a peak
hold spectrum analyzer. Now you have an accurate assessment of the overall
mike attributes and the harmonic content especially at the low end where it
may be troublesome. Note: The varying nature of the combined mike and audio
system, I measure at the audio out as well as the mike interface and at
times, the output of the finals.
Kindest regards Jim K9AXN
