:You are correct Bob, it is really easy. To do this I put up a three sided
box around the mic lined with sound deading material. I put the speaker on
the open side then I attach a scope to the outpput and run the audio
generator across the manufacturere's range to see what I find.
You may be surprised at what you find. Make the box so it is about a foot
from the mic.
