Heil makes a dynamic replacement element especially for D-104's. You can usually
pick them up at the larger hamfests from W0BW's booth who is a Heil dealer. I
would assume they might be available via Heil's website too. They used to make
two types one for communication quality audio and one that had a flat response
but only the communication's type is available now.

They have not been made in years. At one time AES in Milwaukee had a stash
of them. I have no idea if they have any left to sell. They acquired the
cartridges a long time ago just about the time Astatic stopped making them.

Anyone know if there is a source of (NOS) Astatic crystal or ceramic
elements for the D104? 3'sBill-w7kxb
