[AMRadio] Boat Anchor Receiver

Hi Terry,

Frankly, I like the National series.  I have a NC183 and a HRO-50T and love them both for different reasons.  Both are of the vintage of your Ranger.  I bought mine several years ago and the prices have gone up.  However, you should be able to get either one for under $500 in VERY good shape and maybe already upgraded with new caps and tubes.

Good Luck,

Mel, K6KBE

Looking for a good Classic receiver to go with my Ranger 1. Anyone have a good idea about a receiver that would match up nicely with my Ranger 1.  I have found several Collins receivers on the market, but they want more than my budget can stand.
