[AMRadio] "Real" AM'er

Well, there is no reason to splatter all up and down the band, any band.
Maybe if people tell you you are wide, you should look into it.
Someone once told me I was very wide running the big rig.
I found my 3 diode and power supply negative cycle loading setup was causing
me to go very wide, which was what it was supposed to prevent, so I removed
it.
We often operate close on 40 meters, with a qso on 7285, 7290 and 7295, and
someone sitting on 7290 and being 40 KHz wide is not very nice.
Just because I operate AM does not mean I can not be clean, narrow, and on
frequency sometimes.

yes! indeed, one of the reasons i do not use 75m. But, there are some
who are descent people. 160 used to be a nice place. 40 has some good
guys, but its getting clicky. there are some there who really hate me.
They keep telling me I am too broad and too loud. I am not really
concerned, these are boatanchors, plate modulated AM with
both sidebands...
