My Beastys' all have sealed transformers on/in them. Sounds like the
BC-610 you have has been modified with some other trannie!

I have modulator decks from (I) and (H) models all the trannys are sealed
units.
No open frame stuff.

Been running BC-610s for a Long time without ever breaking a "Mod"
transformer.
No "Talk-Back" symptoms or anything like it. Can't really say from the
description
what is going on there.

Oh yeah, the BC-610E that I use/have has no open frame transformers either.
What are you using for a speech amp or what ever to drive the "Beast" with.
When in doubt "MILTFDJ1" applies!

Soon to be holding "Court" on 7285 and 3890 AM!

Yep! Plus the fact that THERE IS NO ROOM in the BC-610 for one!
