My Beastys' all have sealed transformers on/in them. Sounds like the
BC-610 you have has been modified with some other trannie!
I have modulator decks from (I) and (H) models all the trannys are sealed
units.
No open frame stuff.
Been running BC-610s for a Long time without ever breaking a "Mod"
transformer.
No "Talk-Back" symptoms or anything like it. Can't really say from the
description
what is going on there.
Oh yeah, the BC-610E that I use/have has no open frame transformers either.
What are you using for a speech amp or what ever to drive the "Beast" with.
When in doubt "MILTFDJ1" applies!
