Our club is working on building up a 6mtr AM net and I have gathered up and
repaired several vintage rigs (Heath, Utica Lafayette, Globe etc) to put
them in the hands of members to get them started on 6 AM...... I recently
acquired a Lafayette HE-45a 6mtr xcvr.....Having begun troubleshooting the
rig for some problems ( it's old :-)....) I find that It is quite different
from the HE -45.....I have a copy of the HE-45 instructions, with schematic
(from BAMA).....The (a) 45 has a different output (&modulation) circuit and
is using a compactron 7868 (6EX6).........The HE-45 does the job with a
6AQ5..

If anyone has this type of rig and has the instruction book (not a book but
a 6 sheet set if instructions including schematic) I would like to arrange
to get a copy. I can scan your copy and send it back to you.. OR can scan
it and send it to me as a pdf ( or any word processing )attachment.

I'm sure there is one out there :-)

Thanks
