[AMRadio] Noise

It's probably a variation of the "Cocktail Party Effect". All the politicians
agitating I mean campaigning for the elections quit talking at the same time
thus lowering the temperature of the air which means the air molecules are not
banging into each other as much therefore lowering the noise.

Got to QTP (go to bathroom) and make a contribution to the re-election campaign.

Subject: [AMRadio] Noise

Hi all,

The atmospheric noise on 160 and 80/75 meters is as quite tonight as I
have heard in many years.  Late this afternoon, just about sunset, I
worked a Toledo, OH station with good signals both ways.

I just tuned around on 160 and only heard 3 or 4 stations, none on AM
and only two stations in the 75 meter winder.
