I just picked up and installed an MFJ Model 1708 RF controlled T/R switch
from an add in Electric Radio
I am using it with my HB pair of HK-54's (triodes similar to 812's) and
my 75A1 (about 300 watts)
It is a neat little box that can be controlled by PTT or RF sensing....The
PTT and the aux contacts are brought ought to RCA jacks...........Along
with an adjustable delay..........IT WORKS GREAT
I have several Dow type relays but I have found that they become noisy and
intermittent
New, it costs about the same as a good DOW with external contacts that you
would find used. About $59.00 or so.........You can see it on the MFJ
