Good evening, Rob.

Oh, I should have something on the air RSN. I just have to replace
the antenna trimmer capacitor in the receiver, and find where I hid
the coax relay I bought in anticipation of a project like this
one. The guy I bought the DX-100 from (an ebay purchase) swears it
works fine, and everyone knows ebay sellers never , shall we say,
artificially enhance the value of their stuff, so I should be all
set, right? :-\

The amplifier project is for later, maybe February when we're buried
in three or four feet of snow.

It's an off-center-fed dipole at 35 feet, best I can do for the
immediate future.
