[AMRadio] Extra Class

I don't know why after all the carrying on about no-code they just didn't blend everything into Two Licenses
a Beginners/Novice and the Senior/Extra what ever.  I have been involved  in this since 1969 in and out and

I just like radio AM Radio I leave the chest pounding to those who need it I did what was required of me and that

was enough, it's all it should be.. But I did send in my opinions when they were asked for and and I stated leave

the code requirement on the Extra Ticket..I wanted to challenge it and earn my paper....Ah well time marched on...

Thanks for the info, Bob.  I guess I'll try to get a letter from the FCC.  I got my general back in 1966.  I just keep the update and throw the old away.  Sometimes it pays off to hang on to things.

You still have to take the ENTIRE Extra exam, BUT - you have to prove
that you took Element 3 PRIOR to 1987.

Since I did NOT keep my very first license - ORIGINAL - ,, NOR have an
ENTIRE Callbook showing me in it, since I got licensed in 1980, I had to
get a letter from the FCC CERTIFYING that I indeed have the Element 3.

It has become a new requirement, apparently.

have a license before 1987 that you only have to take the satellite and control
section of the Extra.  Not bad.  Where did I find this information?
