Using only alpha-numeric characters can still make a weak password. 

Including a non-alpha-numeric character greatly hardens the password. e.g. ~!@#$%^&*()_+

Those who want more information are invited to read up on rainbow tables and related password cracking programs. I was horrified when a colleague demonstrated an easily obtained program that cracked my laptop's 8-character random alpha-numeric password in 10 seconds. It treated any combination with similar contempt.

Adding just one of those "top shelf" characters made the password immune to that particular program.

So be careful and do as someone posted, change your password to something very difficult.  You can use a combination of letters, numbers and capitals to fool the miners.  Like Scott.  Sc0tt1.  The 0 is a zero rather than an o as you normally find.  Many programs require between 8 and 15 letters or combinations so just remember to write it where you can find it and make those changes about every 3 months.
