Rick, with that level of power vacuum relays are going to   be the best 
choice due to the probably high RF voltages. I would try the surplus Russian 
relays. with the transmitters you have, a few hundred $$ for relays is no 
big expense.  as you know keep the open wire away from other conductors, 
supported from the ceiling  ten inches or so would work fine.   Interesting 
that  you simply asked about how others would do this and get comments that 
you are not doing it properly and should be running coax!!! if I had a 
number or tx/rx locations with a separate matching device at each one I 
believe I might do the same thing.    sounds good to me ;just turn on the 
transmitter and rcvr, the the corrosponding  relays close and every thing is 
set or nearly so without any adjustment.    I did talk with a gentleman that 
had multiple matchboxs that were switched  just so he did not have to retune
