[AMRadio] Valiant Plate Current

This is a tip to anyone running a Valiant. The plate current meter shunt on my Valiant was too high in resistance, resulting in the meter reading higher current than was actually flowing in the circuit. I was tipped off that something was wrong when I loaded the rig up to full input and the output was only around 100 watts. If you want to test your rig, put another milliamp meter whose calibration you believe in series with the B+ fed to the 6146 plates and see if it reads the same as the Valiant meter. I wound up winding another shunt from fine gauge copper wire and replacing the original Viking one.
