Another 2 cents worth
I just bought 2 new 220 panels to expand my shop system. Both have the
neutral and ground buss combined.
I thought it was weird and/or wrong. Paperwork confirms it is right per
Square D
Thanx

Like kicking a hornets' nest. Here goes $0.02
I haven't had a copy of the latest NEC for years, but........at the sub
panel the neutral buss and ground buss should be separate/not connected. A
ground from the sub panel should be run to the main panel & is connected the
ground buss in the main panel. My bet is the neutral & grounds are connected
in the main panel.
