Hey Dave, don't go beatin' yourself up, I well know how often my brain
gets out of phase with my fingers ;-)
But moreover, I'm wondering if what I said about the 6DQ5 not working in
grounded grid is reallly correct - here's why: While it's true the G3
and cathode are connected internally, that's also the case for the 6L6 -
yet McLaughlin says he tested the 6L6 and it works, and the internal
connection is clearly shown on the schematic.
So if the 6L6 works in GG, why wouldn't the 6DQ5?
