Thanks for correcting that.

I wanted to call my post back right after I sent it and say that the 6DQ5 would best be used in AB1 grid driven.

Some sweep tubes like the 6KD6 can be used in GG because the grids all come out to pins.

But they are more money -- but not ridiculously expensive so it's an option.

I love the 6DQ5, best SSB final tube made IMHO.   My GSB-1 and Swan 240 
amaze me with what a single DQ5 final will do - 150 watts PEP or more.

Unfortunately, the 6DQ5 won't do grounded-grid since the suppressor grid 
is internally connected to the cathode.
