If you can't find a replacement bracket it should be easy to fabricate one. 
It's just a  strip of sheet metal with two small holes near each end, 
corresponding to the screw holes on the front panel, with a larger hole in 
the middle to accommodate a quarter-inch shaft bushing. I forget whether the 
two screw holes in the panel are tapped for a machine screw, or if a nut in 
used behind the holes in the front panel.

The receiver will tune much more nicely if you can find a replacement 4:1 
vernier mechanism and spinner knob.
