OK, so I got them emblem wrong, thought the center is what counted, but it does have what I guess you Collins folks call wings sticking out from the round center.  So, now that the technical side of the emblem is sorted out, does anybodies expertise go beyond the emblem?  Is there supposed to be a bracket under the main tune dial that holds a shaft bushing?  I have the service  manual, but it does not include an illustrated parts breakdown.
