I'm not sure I buy into the harmonic hypothesis because the side 
bands are multiplied, too. When that happens the recovered audio will 
be very distorted. Jim reported that he thought the audio sounded 
pretty good, so I doubt that he was hearing harmonics.  It's probably 
a fundamental from someplace. I've heard pirate broadcasts on 10 m 
before and now that propagation is good, we may hear more of 'em. 
They tend to be mercurial in nature and low power but are still a nuisance!
