Hi Bill

And welcome to the group. You will find a lot of help here and a bunch
of great guys. Any question you have will get a lot of answers so
anything about your AM hobby is welcome. That includes audio, feedline,
antennas, microphones, tuners and anything you will be using on your
station.

We have had several new members since I have last posted so I believe I
should remind all to read the rules. At the end of each message you
will find a list of websites and one of them has the rules. Please read
them and remember to be respectful to each other. Probably the biggest
complaint is a subject that has many posts, some a bit off topic from
the original question. Some people don't want to see a multitude of
posts about a subject but they can lead to interesting and informative
answers about other subjects in AM radio so we try not to interfere with
them or the people unless it gets out of hand personally.

If a subject doesn't interest you, then simply delete the posts without
reading. Some people receive hundreds of messages each day and, should
you be one of them, just make a filter for this group in your email
client and direct all messages into a folder, then you can read or
delete at your pleasure. Another thing the moderators and list owner
hesitates to do is get involved in the list any more than possible other
than posting answers or questions. That is a rarity and it is because
we have a lot of people like you Bill who enjoy this aspect of the hobby
and treat each other with respect.

Members usually are more active after labor day and through the winter
to early spring. So enjoy yourself and jump in any time. Should you
need to contact one of us simply go the the "List Home" link and at the
bottom and you will find our email addresses for administrative
messages. Before I forget, attachments are stripped from messages at
the server and won't come through so if you have a picture to post, you
can post the link to other servers as you have in your message.
