the ten tec amp led watt bar is a voltage driven device. it will not
accurately show peak power on AM because the power in the envelope is
more complex than found with CW and SSB. SSB is just CW varying
rapidly in power level and frequency offset to simulate volume and
audio frequency. With AM a voltage driven watt meter device will
show much less than your true peak envelope power.
