I agree. I have the RG213 feeder to my vertical in 1 1/4" PVC run about 40' from
the house with weather heads on the ends of the conduit where it stubs up by the
antenna and by the house under the window where my entry panel is.

Drilling holes in PVC pipe to "let out" the moisture will only allow
moisture to enter. A tight fit is the only way to go. It has worked for
me.
