[AMRadio] Globe Champ 350

In my own experience, running up the rig slowly with the original
electrolytics may bring the old girl back to life but doesn't mean she's
ready to leave the hospital. Transmitters have a funny habit of coming back
then blowing an old electrolytic, days or weeks later. I think it's the
changing current load requirement as the rig is tuned then operated.
Receivers are better due to the nearly constant load. For a heavy weight
transmitter my habit is to recap the entire radio and clear out all the
obvious trouble spots then burn the rig in for a week. Burn in means keep
the radio on and nearby and make an occassional transmission into a dummy
load for 1-2 minutes. The burn in really helps you spot what's left to do
and will delivery a more trouble free machine for you.
