[AMRadio] Heath Seneca question

Can't remember if I asked the group this question before, I may have when I first got this TX 2 years ago. It concerns the Heath Seneca resting carrier level. The rig uses a clamp tube and driver stage RF to set the PA bias. The idle power out on this carrier control rig is about 8 watts, which is normal, and with voice peaks hits 100 watts, also normal. I don't think even the DX60 ran this low an idle power with one 6146, compared to the puny 8 watts of the push pull 6146's on the Seneca. Anybody have experience in modifying the circuit to get a heftier idle power out? The most distant station on our 6 meter AM net every Tuesday, at about 90 miles away, says my carrier is non-existant on his RCVR, but the audio comes through just fine. Thought that if I could get that idle power up to 25-30 watts things might improve.
