[AMRadio] SPAM/Bounces

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Brian is absolutely correct about this. No major ISP can protect your
email address book. What has happened is someone managed to get past
the firewall (s) and mine the addresses in, either, all or some of the
accounts held by various ISPs. The most recent problem has been Yahoo.

For some reason G Mail seems to have a better spam filter than Yahoo and
AOL and have protected their accounts better. I suggest anyone who used
web based mail to get an account with G Mail or another service of your
choice. By changing your mail account and disabling the one (s) with
the problem then change your address in this group. This is the only
way I know to stop (or slow) the problem.

This is one reason I don't use web based mail, and if they can do this
they can read your mail, ask Sarah Palin and others. I have seen this
type of problem many times in the past 20 years and it isn't going to go
away, it is a moving target. At least my little computer out here in
the plains of Oklahoma isn't much of a target for these guys.

If we see excessive bounces we will be required to turn your account off
despite the fact we do not wish to do so. Please contact your server
owner where your mail account is located and complain VERY LOUDLY.
