Hey, no apology need, Rob. It's not your fault some of us are stuck in
the dark ages and need to upgrade. One of those things I keep planning
to do, someday.... The bigger issue would be the European AM group,
assuming anyone had interest in working them.

I first heard you around 2200-2230, then again when I came out after
2300. You were the channel maser each time. Strong signal, excellent
audio. The AB9 stations was strong and sounded good too, the others
sounded like they were closer to you running something in the DX-100
class. I did hear Jack in there at one point too, somewhere between
you and the others in strength.

If the Radio Gods continue to smile on me and the rig holds together
tonight, I'll be on sometime later. The XYL has dinner plans for me,
then there's a Gator football game on that she insists I watch since
she assumes I have mystical powers (any time I watch them, they win -
pure coincidence, but try to tell her that).

If anyone is interested in seeing the transmitter stuff Rob mentioned
that I was referring to yesterday, here are some links:

The first is a somewhat whimsical subject line for a stripped down
view of the transmitter, something not usually seen, and the second is
an actual run down of some interesting problems I found with the high
voltage. One failure in particular is quite interesting and amazing.
