Maybe these guys are rating their antennas like the Hi Fi manufacturers use to
use (and still may) where an amp with two 12AX7's in the output was capable of
250 W. Integrated Dynamic Time Averaged Music Power. OK I made that up, but you
all remember the ridiculous phantom power rating systems that were thrown about
for a while to snare the uneducated.
Along those lines.......I thought about a great bit over the weekend. How about
going to one of those Red Box DVD rental machines, renting a handful of DVD's
and putting a "Please be kind rewind" sticker on them and turning them back
in to see how many people you could drive buggy trying to figure out how to do
that?
