[AMRadio] PACE MAKER QUESTION

Cardiologists are smart guys but very few are also RF or Electrical
Engineers. Find out the manufacturer and model number of the pacemaker
and then contact the manufacturer. Ask them for the EMC specifications
for the pacemaker. You specifically want to know the maximum safe field
strength as a function of frequency. I'm willing to bet that the
numbers are quite different for 80M vs. 6M. Then use one of the online
calculators to determine the maximum field strength anywhere in the
house or yard for all bands that you operate on (be sure to account for
antenna gain). Then to be extra cautious, make sure that you never
exceed half the recommended maximum field strength.

Opinions here could easily result in death to someone. A good time to have empathy, sympathy and genuine concern. All are good traits.
