Hey! That sounds kwel...
I've been known to build some interesting stuff in years past...
I like to see how many times I can recycle a chassis...
I had a neighbor, who has long since passed over, that used to
roll his own capacitors... and he used carbon rods out of
batteries I think for resistors...
He hand wound a transformer for a welder... in his kitchen...
there was wire every where... he counted every turn... amazing
fellow... I sure do miss him... He wasn't a ham but I sure did
learn a lot from him...
FB on the rig... I might have that handbook in my collection...
I got them going back to 1925... fun to read... The WWII ones
are my favorites... with all the 'carrier current' stuff...
