Almost everyone is a bore, the thing that makes it work
is that most are interested in your boring stuff.
You have to use the stuff a lot, otherwise you cant evaluate its reliability
and ease of use....
So do what everyone else does, just yack into it, it does not
matter if there is anyone listening, awake, etc....

Try it.
I built a simple transmitter many years ago, a 6146 with a
crystal in the grid and a pi net output.
Ran about 30 watts out in cw.
Its likely to do some odd things under modulation, as the plate current and
grid current will vary, and the grid 'drive' may
not be enough...
It does not hurt to try though....
