[AMRadio] series modulation...???

Hi all,

I feel responsible for this thread...  You would almost think I
'bashed' someone's faith...

The reality is simply this;

I just wanted a simple circuit for a prototype for bench
evaluation...

No where did I ever say I was going to put it on the air...

Every circuit reacts differently depending on the
characteristics of that circuit and other system environments.

Once I have evaled the system and I find that it functions
correctly to 'the state of the art' then, and only then, will it
go on the air.  And I don't care if it's a MOPA circuit... But
it must pass muster...  Also I do tend to monitor my signal.

Please understand that I am NOT a 'newbie'...  I have been in
this game for a number of years... I have built several circuits
from 'scratch'...  I think I know what I'm doing...  maybe not
ehhh????

Perhaps it is because no one has ever heard me on the air?  This
could be the problem, you see I tend to build stuff up, get a
signal report and then move on to another project...

Infact, I don't 'talk' on the air very much because I really
don't have anything to say of any great importance...  To be
truthful I am a bore...

Now for a question...  How much deviation do you think you can
get from a crystal controlled circuit that is being modulated an
average of say 80 to 90 percent?
